Terms and Conditions
General
When placing an order with Småfolk, you accept the terms and conditions stated below. We recommend that you read them carefully before placing your order.

Shipping and Delivery
All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Denmark using GLS or UPS, depending on the destination and selected shipping method.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days. During sale periods, campaigns, or peak seasons, processing times may be slightly longer.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information.
Estimated delivery time is normally:

EU countries: 2–5 business days

Non-EU countries: 3–7 business days
Delivery times are estimates only. Småfolk cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, customs authorities, or other circumstances outside our control.
Please note that we do not ship to the United Kingdom or the United States.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination country and selected shipping method.
If free shipping applies to your order, this will be shown at checkout.
Import Duties and Taxes
Orders shipped outside the European Union are sent on a Delivered at Place (DAP) basis.
This means that the customer is responsible for paying any applicable import duties, VAT, customs clearance fees, and other local taxes imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs and are collected by the shipping carrier or local customs authorities upon import.
Småfolk has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
If a shipment is refused because import duties, taxes, or customs fees are not paid, any return shipping costs, customs charges, or carrier fees incurred by Småfolk may be deducted from the refund.
Goods shipped to non-EU countries cannot be marked as gifts or declared at a lower value in order to avoid local duties or taxes.
Damaged Parcels
Please inspect your parcel upon delivery.
If the package or its contents are damaged during transport, please notify the carrier as soon as possible and contact Småfolk Customer Service at info@smafolk.dk.
Returns
Småfolk offers a 14-day return policy from the day you receive your order.
To receive a refund, the items must be returned unused, in the same condition as received, and with original hangtags and packaging intact.
Returns are at the customer’s own expense, unless the return is due to a complaint or an error made by Småfolk.
Please remember to include your order number with the return parcel.
Returns must be sent directly to our address. We do not accept parcels sent to parcel shops, post offices, without delivery, or cash on delivery.

We recommend that you keep the receipt and tracking number as proof of return.
Refunds will be made to the same payment method used for the original purchase. We will refund the amount no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods.
Condition of Returned Goods
If the goods are returned unused, with hangtags and packaging intact, the full purchase price will be refunded.
If the goods are returned unused but without hangtags or with damaged/missing packaging, the value of the goods may be reduced.
If the goods have been used, washed, damaged, or otherwise handled in a way that reduces their resale value, Småfolk reserves the right to reduce or refuse the refund.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item and place a new order on our webshop.
Complaints
All products are covered by the Danish Sale of Goods Act, giving customers the right to complain about defects for 24 months from the date of purchase.
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible and no later than two months after discovering the issue.
The right to complain does not cover damage caused by incorrect use, lack of care, normal wear and tear, or improper washing or handling.

If the complaint is approved, Småfolk will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
The payment amount will be withdrawn when your order is dispatched from our warehouse.
All prices are shown in the currency displayed on the webshop. Prices for EU customers include VAT where applicable. For orders shipped outside the EU, VAT may be deducted or not charged, depending on the destination country.
Security
All payments are processed through secure and encrypted payment solutions. Småfolk does not store full payment card details.
Personal Information
When placing an order, you provide the personal information necessary for us to process and deliver your order, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
We use this information only to process your order, provide customer service, and comply with legal obligations.
Småfolk does not sell or pass on personal information to third parties, except where necessary to process your order, deliver your parcel, handle payment, or comply with legal requirements.
