Size guide

1. Height
Place your child against a wall with legs together and measure from top of head to floor.

2. Chest
Measure around the chest, right below the armpit where the child is widest. The child must stand with arms relaxed along the sides.

3. Waist
Measure around the waist, the narrowest place on the upper body. The child must stand with arms relaxed along the sides.

4. Hip
Measure around the hip, the widest place on the bottom.

5. Inner leg length
Measure from crotch to floor, along the leg.

6. Head circumference
Measure around the head, at the widest place. The measurement must be taken tight around the head.

7. Length of hand
Measure from wrist to fingertip, along the back of the hand.

8. Length of foot 
Measure the length from heel to tip of the big toe. The child must be standing up so the weight is distributed correctly on the foot, when placing the child's foot on top of a measuring tape it becomes easier to read. 
To give the child a little room for growing, add 1½ cm to the measurement and choose a size equivalent to the length of the inner sole in the table below.

Baby sizes are indicated in relation to the height of the child. If your child e.g. measures 74 cm in height, it corresponds to our size 6-9 months.

Swimwear: Småfolk's swimwear is slightly smaller in size compared to our regular clothes. It is therefore recommended to go up a size if you are in doubt.
