Shipping and returns

Shipping & Delivery

Orders placed before 1:00 PM (CET) are normally dispatched the same business day.

All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Denmark using GLS or UPS, depending on the destination and selected shipping service. All shipments are insured and include tracking.

Estimated delivery times:

• EU countries: 2–5 business days
• Non-EU countries: 3–7 business days

During sale periods or other busy periods, delivery may take up to 10 business days.

Delivery times are estimates only. Småfolk cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, customs authorities, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Please note that we currently do not ship to the United Kingdom or the United States.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination and selected shipping method.

The applicable shipping cost will always be displayed before payment.

Free shipping is available to Sweden, Finland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium on orders over €100 / SEK 1,137. The free shipping option will automatically be applied at checkout.

Import Duties & Taxes

Orders shipped outside the European Union are sent on a Delivered at Place (DAP) basis.

This means that the customer is responsible for paying any applicable import duties, VAT, customs clearance fees, and other local taxes imposed by the destination country.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs and are collected by the shipping carrier or local customs authorities upon import.

Småfolk cannot predict or control these charges.

If a shipment is refused because import duties, taxes, or customs fees are not paid, any return shipping costs, customs charges, or carrier fees incurred by Småfolk may be deducted from the refund.

Goods shipped outside the European Union cannot be declared as gifts or undervalued for customs purposes.

Returns

You may return unused items within 14 days of receiving your order.

Returned items must:

• be unused
• have all original hangtags attached
• be returned in their original condition

Please include your order number and reason for return with your return parcel. This helps us process your return as quickly as possible.

Returns are made at the customer's own expense unless the return is due to an approved complaint or an error made by Småfolk.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days after we have received and approved your return.

We do not accept returns sent cash on delivery (COD), to parcel shops or collection points, or shipments requiring collection by Småfolk.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you wish to exchange an item, simply return the original item and place a new order through our webshop.

Warranty & Complaints

All purchases are covered by the Danish Sale of Goods Act.

You have the right to submit a complaint regarding manufacturing defects for 24 months from the date of purchase.

Complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered.

The right to complain does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, improper use, lack of maintenance, or incorrect washing and care.

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact our Customer Service before returning the item.

If your complaint is approved, Småfolk will provide a prepaid return label and cover the reasonable cost of return shipping.
